Printer Not Showing Up

Hello all-new to the forum. Thanks to everyone for all of the helpful information.

My issue is: my printer, an HP LaserJet 1022, is not showing up as an option when printing in ATX 2012. I have about 10 other options (OneNote, MS XPS Document Writer, etc...), but this one is not listed. The HP LJ 1022 is my default printer on Windows 7.

Any ideas what I can do to get this to show up?

Another poster suggested renaming your printer to something generic like "H P LASERJET"

This will sometimes work.

Thanks for the tip-I tried this but it still is not showing up. Any other ideas out there?

_{Did you try "change printer" option?}

_{Click on "return" look down the menu to "change printer" choose the printer... It should become your default printer in ATX.}

Yes I tried this as well. My printer is not one of the options listed.
