AnnieR Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 I don't know if it solved all of everyone's problems, but this afternoon's update (download of approximately 250+ forms sure helped out a lot. Just check all of your preferences before you print. AnnieR Quote
Guest Taxed Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 They promised it will solve most of the issues with speed and opening of forms. Quote
windmill Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 When I looked at the ATX web site , the only update was 12.5. Where did you find it?? I tried a manual update through the program, but it showed no updates and I am setting at 12.5 Quote
TAXMAN Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 Same here. I thought release was for tomorrow? Quote
HV Ken Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 The original post was about the forms that were updated. Version 12.6 is slated for Tuesday as is supposed to resolve many memory leaks (which should hopefully slow down the painful number of program crashes). Quote
barosser Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 I am crashing more now than I was last week. Tech did a re-install a few hours ago and now things are worse for me. Hope tomorrow fixes this. Quote
North Idaho Rich Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 Crashing frequently today but all weekend was fine.... Quote

norcalea Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 Had a good weekend, very little problems - but today its crashing everytime I print. Especially bad with the ATX writer to pdf. Anyone else notice that? Quote
joanmcq Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 Did you check your antivirus software? Some aren't interfacing with ATX. check the posts here and the bulletin ATX put out regarding that issue. Quote
ljwalters Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 Did an updade this AM and now the program won't stay open "updated server need to up restart " don't have server. The program shuts down when I colse with the X out functon or cllick OK button. What now. This is February for heavens sake. What are they thinking. The only way for me to get threw to tech support is to get up at 5:00AM and start calling. I am so (add few choise words I can't print here). Quote
norcalea Posted February 5, 2013 Report Posted February 5, 2013 I have read the post here about anti-virus but I dont dare disable mine. Using Microsoft Essentials and have had no problems until today. I cant find an ATX bulletin on the anti-virus issue. Quote
joanmcq Posted February 5, 2013 Report Posted February 5, 2013 There's a post up here about it. Has to do with allowing ATX to access stuff. Quote
