Delay in printing when two returns open.

This morning I was working in a 1065 when my scheduled client arrived. This was a W2 with EIC, 8812. For the first time, I left the 1065 open and opened the second return to process the client. Everything worked fine but when I went to print the client's return, there was an approximate 4 to 5 minute delay in printing the return. This is the first time I had a delay in printing this year. I have seen where others have had problems with that.

I don't really have a question on it. Just an FYI. Until things get better I probably won't work in ATX with two returns open at the same time.

Any other preparers experiencing similar issues?

Same here. Everything works fine as long as there is just one return open. But if you try to print there is a huge lag time and sometimes it causes my program to close.

I started a new EZ last night and it took forever to load, then realized my return was open too. I will use the multiple returns for my RDPs where having 3 returns open, no matter how slow, is quicker than constantly switching between three different returns.
