I keep getting this efile error

I remember having that schema error last year but for the life of me can not remember what it was about. I do remember I found my answer in the knowledge base. You might want to try that.

It has to do with the EIC form and 8867. There is something in the form the e-file does not like. They are having big problems with this at ATX right now.

Any advice ? I have tried removing it and adding again, but it wont work, i might have to do whole tax again

I have like 15 taxes rejected because of that error :S

_{I think you need to check all the 8867 answers on your return. Be certain you are checking all the boxes. This is the first year the 8867 has gone with the return through e-file. The things that error is saying all look like the questions on the 8867.}

I'm getting it this afternoon and I don't have any of those forms in mine. Filed one this AM that is already accepted.

I believe it means that the contents of your efile has either been corrupted or does meet meet the specifications to be accepted.

Some posters on the other board have been receiving state efile rejections for the same reason.

I can't quite read the reject, but it LOOKS like the one I got today on two returns with EIC. It seems to have to do with RULE 6 in my software. I changed the form from a 1040 to a 1040A, and they both went through. Luckily, they could go 1040A.
