Scott_P Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 Just finished a slow download and went to check the Sch A Income Tax/Sales Tax issue. Checked the income tax box and the amount went to 0. Unchecked the box and the amount re-appeared. Just used override and moved on. My clients start coming tonight so hopefully states will be done soon. Been very patient to this point and trying to stay positive. Quote
Crank Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 Switching between multiple W2 still causes program to freeze for about 20 seconds then switches. Watch the timer in the lower right corner it stops when you click on another W2. W2s other than the first W2 lost all data upon upgrade to ver 4.0.0.18 Form 8863 continues to add data sheets for students 02 through 05 even though only sheet 01 is applicable. Deleting the additional forms (whioch are red) causes them to be added back on a recalc. Various form (W2 & 8863) turn red after a recalc. Previously they had been blue. W2 states to input required info for EIN even after entered and remains red. Quote
txyank Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 Has anyone created an Efile sucessfully? I still have many overrides but don't think that would prevent efiling,I hope. Quote
Crank Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 W2s other than the first are not holding their information upon closing the return. Also I have a w2 that remains red but only has two overridden field. Im getting really tired of this! 1 Quote
StayorGo Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 It doesn't print now either!!!!! Who is running this show???? If they spent half the effort on software development as they did on telemarketing we might have a fully working program by now. Quote
Guest Taxed Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 Did anyone on this forum e-file (Fed or State) using the TRX software 2012 as of yesterday 1/30??? Was it even possible to create a e-file? Did you paper file? Quote
