TAG Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 I've spent the last 2 hours trying to customize the "Billing Master Form". My ATX has been down for the past 3 hours-I've not been able to access the knowledge base. All I'm trying to do is put more space between the "From:" and the "To" address on the invoice so that both addresses show through window envelopes. Anyone have an easy solution? Thanks. Quote
RoyDaleOne Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 I found the master billing form by Return Manager Forms Customizer Forms Select Billing Invocie from list (I had to do this twice) Click on from: You should see the cell command in the command window Exit the command to include some spaces at the staet of "Form" to " Form" etc good luck I did not test the changes. TAG Posted January 25, 2008 Author Report Posted January 25, 2008 Roy, Thank you for the response. I know how to find the "Billing Customized Master Form". When I print ATX Invoices: They print: FROM: (me) x TO: (client) There is not enough space between the "FROM:" to the "TO:" to be viewed in a double windowed mailing envelope. I need to know how to space (what to do) to the "Billing Customized Master Form" to get the invoice to print: FROM: x x x x TO: Quote
michaelmars Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 add a line as you would in an excell spread sheet or make the blank line bigger Quote
RoyDaleOne Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 Select the billing invoice The tabs across the bottom select invoice The invoice displayed in two ways. I way I could edit the form this appeared as if a preview screen of the output. Then I was able to get the form up to edit in the spreadsheet manner after clicking on or selecting the TO; cell, A5 the formual showing is "=IF(TRIM(PrepInfoBox)>"0","FROM:","")" I was able to add spaces before the To in the cells formual display. =IF(TRIM(PrepInfoBox)>"0","____FROM:","") ________________________^ spaces added here in side the quotes. Note the spaces did show up correctly so I changed them to _. The other cell is A10 the bill to has no formual so try added spaces in front. I did not test the changes but they may should work. Quote
Byron Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 Easiest way is to change the row height: Go to cell A9 Find the menu near the top of the screen, click "Tools" Pick "Form Tools" Pick "Format Cells" Pick "Row Height" Change the measurement Quote
RoyDaleOne Posted January 26, 2008 Report Posted January 26, 2008 Wow, I miss read the request thinking you wanted to space in from edge of the paper. Sorry about that. Use Bryon suggestion. Quote

At the top of the spreadsheet there is a toolbar...one of the items on that tool bar is to "Insert" rows...another would be to "Insert" columns. Highlight the row below the "from" address...which is row 22 in my form. Then click the appropriate "insert" row button as many times as you want to add rows. Be sure to "save" the form when exiting. TAG Posted January 26, 2008 Author Report Posted January 26, 2008 How I customized the “Billing Customized Master Form” It’s far from perfect, but at least now it will show both the FROM: address and the TO: address in my double windowed envelopes. Open the “Billing Customized Master Form”. Go to the “Invoice”. Place your cursor on the numbered row column until the cursor shows the drag arrows. Drag the space down until you get it where you need to. Save “Billing Customized Master Form”. Test it. Customizing the Master Form has always been a major PIA for me. Thank you to all of you who helped me. Quote
