Terry D EA Posted January 30, 2013 Report Posted January 30, 2013 Thanks Crank for posting this. Still have no idea on States or business proforma. Quote
SLD Posted January 30, 2013 Report Posted January 30, 2013 Is EIC working yet? As of last night, I had to just put in the credit amount. It doesn't calculate for number of children, AGI limits, etc. This software is making me nervous. Quote
Crank Posted January 30, 2013 Author Report Posted January 30, 2013 I had the EIC form icon on a test return remain red and it didnt give me any errors when running the check feature. I went through the EIC worksheet and checked some nonred fields/boxes and the red form icon turned blue after a recalc. It appeared to be calculating correctly for me. This is after updating to the latest release 4.0.0.16 Ive found that a new version release will open up new fields on forms of returns in process that require your attention however they may not show up as a required field (red) or give a corresponding autocheck error. SLD Posted January 30, 2013 Report Posted January 30, 2013 Sorry I meant CTC. Is it working? I may be inputting wrong, but all I had was a field to input an amount. It seems like it should flow automatically if you a child qualifies. Quote
the boss Posted January 30, 2013 Report Posted January 30, 2013 I don't receive the message to download the new release 16. What gives? Quote
CathysTaxes Posted January 30, 2013 Report Posted January 30, 2013 Hi, I'm new, just joined today. I found this forum yesterday. I'm at release 15 and I just did a check for updates and it says I'm current. Quote
TRX 1 Posted January 30, 2013 Report Posted January 30, 2013 Yes stay with .15 until I put out .17 in a couple hours. Doug Quote
CathysTaxes Posted January 30, 2013 Report Posted January 30, 2013 Doug, could you please advise status of the states? Also, it may be helpful to include a link to this forum on your support page. I found the forum by accident. Quote
