I hope I am not alone. The tax business is not my primary business, it is something that I do as an extention of my primary business as a customer perk. I do rely on the client interview to assist me in the fastest and most accurate return prep. Does anyone have any idea of when the interview will be available this year? No one from ATX has returned my phone calls and the hold times have been one hour plus...

It is my decided and experienced opinion that no interview program can substitute for an experienced and trained tax professional.

Just curious, do your "customer perks" include representing them before the IRS if there are issues?

Not a fan of, nor have ever used the interview function.

I have opened it a couple times, but it was just because the cursor was in the wrong place. I didn't mean to do it.

I will usually do one interview return per year just to see what the programmers are doing. I, of course, thoroughly review the return. And I always conclude that I could have done the return much quicker had I not used the interview. But I do recognize that we all are at different skill levels, so if that's what works for DDB, it certainly adds value to the product.

No DDB, I have no insight as to when the interview will be available. Just keep checking.
