phyllisw Posted January 27, 2013 Report Posted January 27, 2013 How do I center the preparer name and address on the client mail slip? Need to change to fit with my envelopes Quote
joanmcq Posted January 27, 2013 Report Posted January 27, 2013 I think there was a workaround in the Master forms posted on the other forum. I tried it, but it isn't working for me yet, and I don't want to muck around in the program much yet. I'm going to wait a bit and see if CCH updates it. I tend to mail to clients using Priority Mail flat rate envelopes, so I haven't been using the client mail as much. Now the return mailing is an issue for me! Quote
TaxMan60601 Posted January 28, 2013 Report Posted January 28, 2013 As far as I see, It is not possible at the moment, at least as per the updated ATX 2012 User Guide (found at C:Program FilesCCH Small Firm ServicesATX2012HelpUserGuide; or on Support/User Guide menu within ATX 2012). "You can customize a form in any of the following ways: l Inserting special text (see Inserting Text on Forms) l Inserting pictures or images to the form (see Inserting Pictures on Forms) l Adding itemized lists (see Creating Itemized Lists) l Adding text lists (see Creating Text Lists) l Adding custom lists (see Creating Custom Lists)" I also think they can easily add Left/Center/Right Alignment functionality ... or customize this - it would be okay too. I'd also love to have customization on this down right corner zoom tool - I don't like this mouse dragging Since it seems there is no solutions of this now, what I can suggest is: - you can edit client mail slip while overriding the lines with the prep's name&address, enter manually the same information again and center them manually (don't know how this will affect e-file ...), or - you can edit client mail slip manually again after printing the whole TR on PDF printer, using Acrobat Pro (in case you are going to post the return) Good luck!
