Program Problems

Is everyone still having problems with the program not opening returns. I did un-install and re-install but still having the same problem. Version 12.1 and still not working. Just making sure.

v 12.3 was posted this a.m. I'm not brave enough to load it yet. Waiting for reviews. lol

We'll just have to wait till the 30th - I'm certain all the problems will be resolved by then - I haven't ordered the 2012 program and may be forced to change programs if they don't have everything fixed by the 30th.

I could not install the program from the disk when it arrived in Dec - -so I installed via internet 12.1 download - - -all was good - - -or so I thought. I tried to rollover a return last week - - not a lot of luck. Spent hours trying,saw there was an update of 12.2 and downloaded that - -but I had the same problems - -no error codes - -just no rollover of a return that had any depreciation, sched C etc - - finally gave up and posted on the other board.

Sat 9 am Travis the Tech called me!!!! One hr later of him trying everything - -finally he uninstalled - - -and reinstalled - -and TA DA - - a mere 1 hr later - -I was able to rollover and open a 1 W-2 , Single - -no dependents - - in a mere 8 minutes!!!!!

So this am I tried the 12.3 update and have SLASHED that time to 5 minutes!!!!!

It's going to be a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG tax season - - -

After an hour with Tech. I have my laptop working. Now on to the new problem with the server not letting me load the program. There are hidden files that have to be renamed to allow the program to work.
