kcjenkins Posted December 25, 2012 Report Posted December 25, 2012 Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced with the most enjoyable traditions of religious persuasion or secular practices of your choice with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2013, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make our country great and without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith, sexual preference or TV channel of choice of the wished. By accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms: This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for her/himself or others and is void where prohibited by law, and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher. Catherine Posted December 27, 2012 Author Report Posted December 27, 2012 Sounds like KC spent a bit too much time (or possibly sipped a bit too much "preferred adult beverage") whilst decorating her festive non-denominational holiday shrub! Quote
kcjenkins Posted December 28, 2012 Report Posted December 28, 2012 Now, Cat, you know I don't do that! I just thought I should share the PC Approved version that my lawyer son shared with me. 1 Quote

joanmcq Posted December 31, 2012 Report Posted December 31, 2012 Happy, merry, and all to everyone. Since my sister and I are kinda major procrastinators, we've decided to celebrate Russian Orthodox Christmas. Our grandma was Russian Orthodox, so we figure we can get away with it. Bonuses; we ship 'da box' to each other (opposite sides of the country) when the post office isn't busy. We get to shop for the cheap goofy crap we send each other at the after Christmas sales. AND we get another holiday at the beginning of January when everyone else is just cold and depressed. Funny though, I talked with my younger brother on Christmas eve, and he's so sick of the pope, he decided he's more Orthodox too. And he's not part of 'da box' exchange. 1 Quote
