Guest Taxed Posted December 21, 2012 Report Posted December 21, 2012 I received a postcard from CCH offering their Taxwise Power package for $995 and the price is locked in for 3 years. Anybody else receive that offer? Anybody who has used Taxwise Power? Is it like ATX basic?? Also a friend of mine mentioned that a company called SureFile Taxes (must be a sales agent) has a price lower than $995. Is it the same software? Quote
JohnH Posted December 21, 2012 Report Posted December 21, 2012 I think a good rule of thumb would be to buy your tax software directly from the company rather than through a third party. Just my humble opinion. 1 Quote
Sure-Fire Taxes Posted January 7, 2013 Report Posted January 7, 2013 @JohnH - Again, that's purely opinion. We completely understand people getting a bad taste from other third party software providers and we strive to set ourselves apart from those companys. We have a great following that has started with our company. These past two years have been excellent and are very proud of Technical support team. We been able to keep hold times under 2 minute during first week of tax season and under 30 second each week following. @Taxed - Yes, we offer the Taxwise platform at a much lower cost than advertised. We actually don't post any pricing on our website because we have over 22 different price breaks and discounts. For instance, if you fund more than a couple hundred bank products we have discount deals such as free software with only $29.95 total bank product cost. This charge includes all bank product fees including Bank Fee, Technology, Transmission and Service Bureau fee. Even if you only provide 10 bank products, we have great discounts on the final package price. Our Desktop versions are always with free unlimited e-filing and include all individual and business forms for all 50 states. We also have a Web version available that starts at $199 and costs only $5 per every e-file submitted. The only draw back currently is the Web version you can only E-File 1040 returns. You can, however, paper file 1065, 1120, 1120s, and other business forms for free. We also offer every possible need a business owner could require. From helping with a business plan, custom graphic hard, creating a professional website, and customized marketing plans with SEO specialist. Give us a call and we can give you a custom quote today. surefiretaxes.com 1-800-516-9442 Quote
Jack from Ohio Posted January 7, 2013 Report Posted January 7, 2013 I agree with John H. This from past experiences. If you buy directly, there is no one for them to shift the blame to. Quote
Pacun Posted January 8, 2013 Report Posted January 8, 2013 We also have a Web version available that starts at $199 and costs only $5 per every e-file submitted. We are required to efile. Quote
Guest Taxed Posted January 8, 2013 Report Posted January 8, 2013 I believe only large corporations are forced to e-file 1120. Form 1065 and 1120s could be paper filed in 2012. i am not sure if the rules changed with MeF. Quote
