kcjenkins Posted November 28, 2012 Report Posted November 28, 2012 Once again I ask for your prayers. I've been diagnosed with endometrioid adenocarcinoma grade 1, so I'm looking at surgery real soon. Quote

Margaret CPA in OH Posted November 28, 2012 Report Posted November 28, 2012 KC, know that you have never left our hearts, thoughts and prayers so they continue to support you as you face another challenge. Quote
Lion EA Posted November 28, 2012 Report Posted November 28, 2012 I'm so sorry, KC. But, you already know you're strong. Prayers are out there for you already and continue to stream every day and every night. Go out in your backyard to let out a loud primal scream. Then surround yourself with all the positive, loving people in your life, both close at hand for hugs and help and all of us virtual friends who are here in many time zones to reassure you and listen to you vent and be another layer of support for you at any time. God Bless You and Keep You. Quote
JohnH Posted November 28, 2012 Report Posted November 28, 2012 I'll certainly be praying for you KC. Quote
Terry O Posted November 28, 2012 Report Posted November 28, 2012 Prayers are going out for you! Quote
BulldogTom Posted November 28, 2012 Report Posted November 28, 2012 KC, Please forgive my ignorance and don't respond if this is too personal, but what exactly is the health problem? I don't know what that condition is, and I would like to pray specifically for your healing. God is our friend, and He cares for us. I would like to talk to Him in detail about your health issues. Know that you are loved by us and by Him. Our prayers are with you. Your Friend, Tom Hollister, CA Quote
MAMalody Posted November 28, 2012 Report Posted November 28, 2012 Tom, I believe this is sometimes referred to as a uterine cancer. KC, you are in my prayers. Keep us posted on how to most effectively pray for you. Quote
mcb39 Posted November 28, 2012 Report Posted November 28, 2012 KC....may God continue to hold you in the palm of his hand. I have a dear friend and client going in tomorrow for a double mastetectomy and restoration. I doubt that I could face that so prayers are constant around here. Quote

kcjenkins Posted November 28, 2012 Author Report Posted November 28, 2012 Tom, the common term is cervical cancer. Grade 1 is the least bad of a bad case. Lion, sadly, right now there is no family close but my good friends here do help me a lot, just knowing you guys are on my side! I'm planning to move close to my boys, but this surgery can not wait for that. Quote
Lion EA Posted November 29, 2012 Report Posted November 29, 2012 Oh, an excuse to go out to CA now that there's snow on the ground here in CT.... Quote

Margaret CPA in OH Posted December 1, 2012 Report Posted December 1, 2012 That was, indeed, amazing! I am lead coach for a group Sit to Fit, helping couch potatoes in 8 weeks training get to the finish line of a 5 km race. Our race is the Jingle Bell Run next Saturday so I forwarded to all for more inspiration. Thanks! Quote
Catherine Posted December 2, 2012 Report Posted December 2, 2012 Good heavens! I missed this post when it first came 'round somehow -- my apologies, KC. I hope that you are doing better now and that the prognosis is very, very, very good. Yes, that video is very inspiring. All the best, Catherine Quote
