MAMalody Posted October 3, 2012 Report Posted October 3, 2012 I ended up with a NY return to e-file. ATX has a "warning" so I checked the NY website. It seems if you file more that 5 returns you must e-file. Do I have that right? Since this is my only NY tax return, I assume I can e-file it with no problems. I tried calling NY and got stuck in a phone tree, the same tree for a couple of different numbers. If I need to register, can you direct to the correct phone number or url so I can get this done. Thanks. Quote
michaelmars Posted October 3, 2012 Report Posted October 3, 2012 IF YOU ARE LESS than 5 then just go ahead and efile, but remember all returns that you file count, no matter the type Quote
MAMalody Posted October 4, 2012 Author Report Posted October 4, 2012 All returns, or all NY returns? I read that as NY returns. Quote
michaelmars Posted October 4, 2012 Report Posted October 4, 2012 all Ny returns but includes business, gift, etc; not just individuals Quote
