jainen Posted August 2, 2012 Report Posted August 2, 2012 >>MSNBC interveiw today in the moring talks about 21 billion<< According to the article, this is not news. It is just blatant non-factual speculation about the next five years. Even if true it would still be a big drop from the 2011 number which itself only counts for 1/5 of 1% of the budget anyway. Quote
Elrod Posted August 2, 2012 Report Posted August 2, 2012 If they got it...........They'ed probably just spend it. Quote
JohnH Posted August 3, 2012 Report Posted August 3, 2012 Yes, pure speculation. Nothing to see here. Besides, $ 21 Billion is only chump change - such a tiny part of the budget it's not worth the effort to do anything about it. 1 Quote
kcjenkins Posted August 5, 2012 Report Posted August 5, 2012 Sad to say, that does seem to be the attitude in D.C. these days. 1 Quote
Catherine Posted August 5, 2012 Report Posted August 5, 2012 If they got it...........They'ed probably just spend it. Not quite, Elrod -- if they got it, they'd spend close to _twice_ that amount. 1 Quote
