michaelmars Posted August 2, 2012 Report Posted August 2, 2012 i have a receivership that is ending and the receiver wants to be sure he is off the hook for any future audits. NY Sales tax is very good if you request an audit to either come in and do it or state they will not audit thus the buyer of businesses are off the hook for prior taxes. I found this form on the IRS site but the instructions are very vague. I was wondering if anyone has ever submitted this form, what is the time period for the irs to respond etc. Quote
