Catherine Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 Just checked the "other" forum -- ATX finally admitted they are having serious server issues. Recommend trying sporadically during the day as returns are getting through at times. Just tried calling on a Mass return reject issue and hold times are in excess of 15 - 30 minutes. Hung up; don't have time for that crap. Would rather put the client on extension and deal next week. Sheesh. Quote

Lion EA Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 Well, it's universal for CCH, because I use ProSystem fx and haven't been able to transmit today. Their phone has a message when you call in before any "hold" that says they're having e-file server problems and are working on it as fast as they can. I thought one just might get through right now, but it's stuck at 98% validated. I'm tired and cranky! 1 Quote

ATX: Server Errors when sending returns or retrieving acks 4/10/2012 Problem: Some customers are seeing a server error 12301 when receiving acks or sending returns. Other server error numbers could also manifest. Solution: Use KB article 1548 to delete all temporary internet files and cookies. Then retry connecting to the EFC to send returns or receive acks 30-45 minutes later. As customers contact the CS Dept, we are noticing that many are successful after following these steps. We are also noticing that the errors occur sporadically and do not affect all efilers. We don't even get a "Sincerely." Quote
Lion EA Posted April 11, 2012 Report Posted April 11, 2012 I was surprised I didn't receive an email in the morning alerting me to the issue. I had to call in to find out they were aware but didn't have an ETA for their resolution. At least I received an email that it was fixed. Quote
