Booger Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 Heads up, everybody who THINKS they are getting Form 1041 with their software package. You HAVE TO contact ATX and they will ship you another CD with Form 1041 on it. Apparently the first CD didn't have Form 1041, and ATX WILL NOT AUTOMATICALLY send you the CD with Form 1041....you have to call and ask for it. Funny, when I buy something, I expect to get it without having to ASK FOR IT. Booger Quote
kcjenkins Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 Yep, that is a weird way to treat their customers. Did you call sales, or support? Quote

taxit Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 The 1041 is on mine. I ordered MAX Quote
kcjenkins Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 I just checked, and it is on mine also. And I got mine real early. Something strange here, I don't think Booger got the truth from whoever he talked to. Sounds like he got a defective CD. Quote
Booger Posted January 21, 2008 Author Report Posted January 21, 2008 The 1041 is on mine. I ordered MAX taxit. I checked the MYATX website, which said that the 1041 wasn't included on the CD shipped in December, and it would be included on a CD dated 1-11-08, but the ATX customer had to call and ask for the new CD to be shipped. I called support, which verified that. I bought TTO....would have thought that Form 1041 would automatically be included. Booger Quote
kcjenkins Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 Well, TTO is what I got, Booger, and it is on my program. And any way, if you have TTO and it was not on the original disk, so what? You should be able to download it as an update anyway. I don't know whether it was on my disk or not, but I have it now. Quote

KC, go into your 2007 ATX program, click on Support, then click on MYATX. Check out their comment under "Where's my 1041? BTW, I checked...and I also have the 1041. ??????????????????? Don't know what's going on at ATX. Booger Quote

taxit Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 I saw that post also Booger. I don't understand it though. I created & worked on a 1041 on 12-13-2007, it was missing the K-1's at that time. Quote
kcjenkins Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 STRANGE, very strange. Makes you wonder what the heck is going on, CCH is a big enough, old enough company that such careless mistakes should not be happening. Seems almost like sabotage, but I try not to be paranoid. Quote

Wendy Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 I have MAX and renewed in June. Since some of you could access it from your current CD, I just tried to open the 1041 and it is not available on my program - I update the program daily (at least). Called tech support - pleasant girl with no clue who said I had to call sales. Just called sales - first person had no clue & put me on hold which promptly disconnected. Second person was able to authorize new CD with one click. Very strange. Also they have no clue as to when MA will be cleared to E-file and expect MA paper forms to be available 1/29. Of course, paper forms do not help when you are mandated by the state to e-file. grrr Hope the rest of the season goes more smoothly. Wendy F. Katz, EA Quote
