Wendy Posted March 31, 2012 Report Posted March 31, 2012 Client moved from Arizona to Massachusetts in June. En route stopped off to visit relatives for a few weeks in CT. When 1099R arrived it showed state taxes paid to CT. Has called them to have a corrected form sent but they are clueless and she is waiting for a callback from supervisors. If they can't figure it out is there any way other than filing a non-resident CT return to get money back - and paying MA? It's the little aggravations.............. Quote
Jack from Ohio Posted March 31, 2012 Report Posted March 31, 2012 File a non-resident form for CT and paying MA is the simplest method. The chances of getting someone to correct a 1099 are about the same as us winning last night's MegaMillions drawing. Quote
