Catherine Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 Wonderful!! Bet it took a long time to get something so elaborately and perfectly "homonymed". Quote
Kea Posted March 26, 2012 Report Posted March 26, 2012 Don't you just love the English language?? I would sure hate to have to learn it as a 2nd language -- I have a hard enough time with it as my 1st. Quote
GeneInAlabama Posted March 26, 2012 Report Posted March 26, 2012 I had a college professor once who spoke several languages fluently who admitted that he was a terrible speller. He said that he might try to start a movement to begin spelling words the way they sound. Apparently it didn't work out. That was many years ago. Quote
