joanmcq Posted February 22, 2012 Report Posted February 22, 2012 My head is swimming in COD and community income splits. Please. Just one return with no COD. Please? 1 Quote
Catherine Posted February 22, 2012 Report Posted February 22, 2012 Hang in there, Joan!! Our sympathies! Quote
kcjenkins Posted February 26, 2012 Report Posted February 26, 2012 That's probably because you are in CA. Not that many here. Quote
joanmcq Posted February 27, 2012 Author Report Posted February 27, 2012 I did get a couple of simple single people with normal itemized deductions. Yay. No more COD all week, although I've got a new client that is amending his 1120-S for COD, as well as some other stuff that shouldn't have been reported the way it was. Just got a copy to download, but I'm too tired to look at it now. Few more RDP/SSMC clients, but at least none with COD or anything out of the ordinary. Three years back returns for new client. Hey, at least I'm busy!!!!! :) Quote

Randall Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 When I get bogged down with a return, I set it aside and do some that I think will go quickly. This lets me get some work 'finished' before going back to the other. 1 Quote
Gail in Virginia Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 When I get bogged down with a return, I set it aside and do some that I think will go quickly. This lets me get some work 'finished' before going back to the other. I have tried that too, Randall, but invariably that turns out to be a mistake because this is the year the person who has always filed a short form turns out to have a mess. But sooner or later we manage to wade through it all! :spaz: Quote
