AnnieR Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 I have been e-filing since it began...seems like a lifetime ago...but I have never run into this before and want to make sure I do this right before I file the return. I do know the client (in a small town you know most people's business), she doesn't have a bank account, lives with her boyfriend but does not use his address for her personal mail, she does have a PO Box. Will the IRS mail a refund check to a PO Box? Or am I just making things more difficult than they are? TIA AnnieR Quote

MAMalody Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 The Form 1040 instructions indicate not to use a PO Box in the entity section, however, the returns I have had in the past with a PO Box they have mailed the checks to them. Quote
