OldJack Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 Shampoo Vs. Dishwashing Soap Warning! I discovered this important info below. Please share with all your friends. ... I don't know WHY I didn't figure this out sooner!!!!! It's the shampoo I use in the shower! When I wash my hair, the shampoo runs down my whole body, and (duh!) Printed very clearly on the shampoo label is this warning, "FOR EXTRA VOLUME AND BODY." NO WONDER I have been gaining weight!!! Well! I have gotten rid of that shampoo and I am going to start using Dawn dish soap instead. Its label reads, "DISSOLVES FAT THAT IS OTHERWISE DIFFICULT TO REMOVE." Problem solved! If I don't answer the phone . . . I'll be in the shower! 4 Quote
Margaret CPA in OH Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 Just LOVE this! It explains my 'image' problem perfectly. Jack you are so very kind to share this invaluable advice with us! Your wisdom in all areas is to be admired - along with that new, improved figure. Quote
GeneInAlabama Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 Thanks Jack. That is VERY useful information. I'm headed for the shower right now. Quote
Tax Prep by Deb Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 Just what we needed! I loved it! Deb! Quote
mcb39 Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 The problem with that is that our Family Doctor told us to always shower with shampoo in the wintertime to prevent dry skin. Maybe that is why HE is a little rotund and wants everyone to look the same. However, I am going to follow Jack's advice from now on. Quote
Margaret CPA in OH Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 So what do you want, Marilyn? Dry, wrinkled lean or soft, smooth fat? Oooh, phrased that way, I'm not so sure of my own answer now! Quote
mcb39 Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 I will settle for the dry, wrinkled lean and try to find time to apply lots of lotion. (Fat again) It is hard enough to stay anywhere near lean sitting in this chair for hours on end. Quote
Margaret CPA in OH Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 I hear you and besides, the wrinkles are already in full bloom! Quote
jainen Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 >>"FOR EXTRA VOLUME AND BODY."<< Are you sure that's what it means? I've been using that stuff ever since my army days when we used to shout all those bawdy lyrics as loud as possible. Hinky dinky parlez-vous. Quote
