where's my refund

I thought there was a line for that under support and a box came up with the SSN filing status and refund so we had it to type into the irs page. Is it gone this year or am I just missing it?

I have checked for refunds and nothing has changed. The dollar bill logo might be gone but "where is my refund" is still available and you have to click twice. Another change that I noticed is that now you get a notice when you click on the link.

I believe what you are looking for is in the Support menu. Go to Web Sites, then Check IRS Refund Status. The little box appears, while the where's my refund site opens.

I found it at IRS.gov Click on "Individuals" then "Tools". It's the third item from the top down.

Update: We are aware that some taxpayers who have filed electronically and received an acknowledgement from the IRS are concerned when they visit "Where's My Refund" and are told that we have no information regarding their return. This is a temporary situation, and we expect to resolve the matter in a few days. At that time, taxpayers will be able to get an expected refund date when they visit "Where's My Refund."

If a taxpayer received an acknowledgment message that their e-filed tax return has been received, they can be assured that the IRS has the tax return even though "Where's My Refund" does not reflect that. Taxpayers should not call the IRS unless specifically directed by "Where's My Refund," as there is no new information to give them.

We expect the vast majority of tax refunds to continue to be issued within the historical range of 10 to 21 days. The IRS is taking steps to update information so that Where's My Refund has current information. The IRS apologizes for any inconvenience and will provide updated information as soon as possible.

I originally had the same problem your experiencing. Make sure your program is up to date. Go to your e-file manager, select the name then go to support, website, and see if it's up at the top. Once I did that I was able to go to my return manager and select any file and it was available.

Oh Wow! I misread the question. I never knew about the shortcut to the "Where's my Refund" directly from ATX.

You can also check from the Return Manager. Just high light on the return (do not open), then go to support then web sites.
