How do i delete a worthless "validated EFC" file?

11-Jan i created an e-file and submitted it.. it only read "Validated by EFC". Kept checking over the weekend, call customer support several times and they said the return was not in my inbox but somehow when they logged in "their" system it appeared. Well after long hours/days of trying the Efile status under "My ATX" and "receive Ackn.." under the software i finally decided to copy the return and re-transmitted it.. guess what the second return was accepted by the IRS right away but now i'm stuck trying to delete the original.. any thoughts on how to delete?

You can only delete EFiles that are in a Created or Rejected status. I would just try to ignore it , maybe it will eventually get rejected then you can delete it.
