I had a HP LaserJet4Plus that also died. I bought a HP laserJet 4200/4300 series. I dont remember the price but this was a few years ago and the machine is still doing a great job.

I have also found that by making the client ask the question by email and type it out their questions are more thought out and they include more information.

It is my understanding that flash drives should only be used for short periods of time. They can lose information easily over time.
