  1. Ohio Return should be calculated (automatically) as a full year resident through Line 12. Then Page 4, Sch D should calculate percentage of NON Ohio income to Ohio AGI. Percentage is then applied to total tax to calculate a credit (for LA income). Local(s) are most likely non-issues if client only worked there. (In my area) local return is only an issue in the area of RESIDENCE. But be careful W/H are "School District". There are no SD income taxes in my area, so I'm not real familiar with then. Jim
  2. Annie in 2008 it was IT-140 plus Sch A. Sch A separated WV income. WV changed a few things last year so you might confirm these forms still hold true. Edit: It does! Jim
  3. 95% of the calls I got for this called it the "UNearned income thang". "I don't E-File" always got rid of them. Now what am I gonna do? Jim
  4. IT-1040? If I delete that stupid "Ohio city table" or whatever it's called, I have that problem EVERY time. Save, close, and re-open fixed it every time. However, I have had two IT-1040s that give me a "You must enter a valid phone number" error. Deleting the return is the only fix I have found for this one. (I have never put phone numbers on a tax return.) Off-topic - do you other BuckeyePreps staple paper returns? Jim Edit: Typo's
  5. KC, she didn't give me your price, but she worked her butt off to get me the software during the Christmas Holidays. Nobody else at CCH would even bother to call me back. Jim
  6. I've been trying to buy ATX for two weeks (TRX last year). I keep getting some kind of legal run around. It's getting annoying.
