Congrats to all the SSD users, during the non-tax season, I will be buying a new PC with SSD, too bad it's pricey per GB still.

Low resource, it's time to upgrade the memory on your PC or you have too many programs open at the same time, ATX2012 is a memory hog. ATX2012 requires a mininum of 2GB, but you can go with 8 or 16BG that would be better.

Please visit the software issue forum, you will see even people with the best PC are having problems because of the software design for 2012.

In the past I have requested wage and earning transcripts reports from the IRS, this way I know exactly what was reported to the IRS.

This it's taking a lot longer to open clients, everything was working fine yesterday.

My Brother HL 5450dn printer came in today and I am loving it, pretty fast printer, prints up to 40ppm I think it took longer for the print form module to load then the time it took to print 30 pages. The only downside it's kind of noisy, but today is the first day and I know I will get use it.

I had a similar problem with one return while on 12.8, yesterday I installed 12.9 and I was able to open without the program closing.

I am getting these two error messages: SEIC-F1040-506-01 R0000-507-01 In other words: Dependent SSN was issued in another return for this year.... I had the client call the IRS and everything is fine on their end, is there away around this? Thanks MAS

Eye Surgery You can include in medical expenses the amount you pay for eye surgery to treat defective vision, such as laser eye surgery or radial keratotomy. Define defective vision? TP did want to wear eyeglasses any longer like many, is this considered comestic surgery or a medical deduction?

I hate to say, buy it somewhere hidden, reinstall atx and everything reappears.

Is it empty? I think in this year, you have to make the backup yourself, my is also empty, but every so often I backup my files to an external hard drive.

As of 02/18/13 I have not been able to resolve the issue, also I have not called tech support because of the wait time, I did send them a fax a while ago and I haven't heard back from them. MAS

Since ATX2012 came out, I have not been able to sync the return manager on two computer, the second computer fails to show the clients I have rolled over or created, any way that is not my issue any longer, I have given up. From advice from others I decided to completely uninstall the program using third party applications like Revo Uninstaller Pro and Ccleaner to remove all traces of ATX2012, including registries. hidden files etc.... I made a backup of my files on a USB drive, uninstalled ATX, restarted computer, installed ATX after downloading it from ATX website, restarted computer, installed updated 12.7, restarted computer, opened ATX and WALA all my clients reappeared, no need to restore the backup or import clients. Not being a happy camper, did the same thing after downloading Revo Uninstaller and shazam everything appears. So be aware, you can't get rid of ATX2012 that easily.

Try closing the program, shut down computer, restart and check to see if it works. I won't advice uninstalling/reinstalling ATX, I have done this over 5 times and my information still appears, even after I used a third party application that removes all the traces of the program. I made a complete backup, but didn't need it since all my information reappeared and I couldn't believe it.

Next question probably he is getting paid with a W2 or 1099?
