  2. (Seriously)...JB, hope your fiance says yes to your marriage proposal. I wish you nothing but the best. I look forward to your posts, because I never know when you'll have me laughing my A*S off! Booger
  3. Mrs. Booger and I are heading to our favorite vacation spot the week of April 28th. Halfway between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge Tennessee we always rent a cabin in the mountains for a week, just to get re-aquainted (IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN). The company we rent from is called Masons Mountain Manors, and the cabins have hot-tubs, jacuzzis, and a full blown kitchen where Mrs. Booger can cook my meals. Can't wait to go. Booger
  4. GEEZ, Reading this thread makes me want to rethink e-filing my 4868's and just snail mail them. Booger

    E-Filing 4868's

    Thank You, mcchampine. Grateful Booger
  7. Actually, I SHOULD have a headache about 9pm. Have two late meetings with clients tonight. One is going to owe the IRS about $6,000, the other will owe $20,000 (Both Federal & State). First words out of my mouth will be DON'T SHOOT THE MESSENGER. Nervous Booger
  8. Drink a 5th of whiskey and call me in the morning. Dr. Booger

    E-Filing 4868's

CONSIDERING E-Filing my 4868's (one's with no payments) this year. I have a couple of questions: 1.Does the system know that you are only e-filing the extension, and therefore will allow you to e-file the 1040 when finished? 2.Are there any special "steps" one needs to take in order to e-file the 4868's? Thank you for your responses. Booger PS Can you e-file the 4868 then paper-file the 1040, and visa-versa?
  11. D-I-V-O-R-C-E. Great song by Tammy Wynette.

  16. My favorite line in "The Ten Commandments" was when he held up that walking staff of his over his head and said "BEHOLD HIS MIGHTY HAND".....then God parted the Red Sea. WAY TOO COOL!! Booger
  17. Heard it happened while they were cleaning their guns. I think that Ape-Guy also died. Booger
  18. Just read where Moses, El Cid, Michelangelo and Ben-Hur died. Must have been a HELL of a wreck! Sad Booger
  19. Glad you clarified that. If I was your client who paid big $$ out to subs, and my preparer said that I could only deduct $25 per sub, I would tell you to go pound salt and I would find a preparer who is MY advocate, NOT the IRS Advocate. BTW, Pacun spelled backward is NUCAP. Booger
  20. I HOPE CERTAIN OF YOU ARE KIDDING ON THIS POINT. Just because your client DID NOT ISSUE a 1099, doesn't make the payment nondeductible. HOW IN THE WORLD are you retaining clients with that attitude? Booger
  21. lydia33, taking doggie with you? Booger
  22. Seriously (??), my wife's a JEWEL for putting up with this CRAP for the first 3 1/2 months of the year. I'm LUCKY to have her. Booger (Lucky Man)
  23. You're right. My client is still being covered by GM regarding life insurance. That is why he still receives the W2 even though he's been retired for many years. Booger
  24. Have a client who is retired from GM....receives a W2 every year that has uncollected FICA taxes shown in box 12 as Codes M & N. The UT is the designation for "uncollected FICA taxes. Bet your client has the same thing. Take a look at their W2. The UT is what the IRS wants you to put on the specific line on the 1040. Booger
  25. Forgive my cynicism (Sp?), but I'm LEERY about a program that only costs $299, yet does what ATX does. I'd believe it when I see it. Doubting Thomas Booger
