Distant relatives call and tell me they havn't filed their tax returns for ten years. They want me to fix it for them at a 1,124 mile seperation. Client - self employed. Received a 1099-R from a job they did. No code mark in box 7, taxable amount filled in, Only DUH.! Some folks just don't use the 1099 instructions, I guess.
