    I have a nol carryforward from 2 previous years no loss this year. Do I put the entire NOL carryforward on line 21 or just what is used? and do I have to attach a statement with the efile or does the worksheets go with the efile?
  4. WHy don't you just efile the 1099's in ATX?
  5. I am doing my first PA part year resident return. W-2. Is it normal to have the exact amount of withholding for the tax due? It just seems strange.
  6. I report all sales that I collect then under cost of goods in other I put the amount I paid out for consignment. That way I account for all money going thru my bank and hands
  7. they did not receive a 1099R just a letter saying there was a loss so no 1099R would be coming

  11. I had that one with oregon not ohio but I found that it was because federal wasn't filed first. So I couldn't efile an oregon only return had to paper file. Never could get and answer from support they just kept answering back with junk informaiton. Is that what you found too?

  13. per the instuctions of 1040 the name of person claiming the refund should be in on top by the taxpayer. how do you do that in atx without overriding?

  16. on a W-2. they put it in local tax but no local wages. I am trying to imput but can't see where it goes so it will go onto the sch. A the w-2 shows NJ-UI and DI in box 20 of w-2 Any help? thanks
  17. at this point I would paper file the return and move on to more returns. You don't have time for this now.

I have a 1065 that one partner left and I need to allocate his income etc to his k-1 for the peroid he was in the partnership I have the figures from my books but trying to figure out to get into atx program to show 25% share for all for half year then 33.3 for the 3 left last half of year thanks for any help
  19. I have a return with stock sales with a statement I have to attach with the return pursuant to treasury reg secitons 1.344-5( and 1.368-3 (. I don't see where I can attach to the 8453 so does this mean I have to paper file? I don't have a scanner. thanks

    e-file 1120S

    am I correct in thinking I Don't have to e-file a 1120S or 1065's? And I don't have to include the 8948 waiver. I think its only for 1040's and 1041's thanks
  21. he cannot claim his own exemption credit but can claim the education credit. there is a good example in quickfinder pg 13.8

  23. no , if they are not legally liable to pay loan even if they paid they can't deduct. who's name is the 1098E in? even if the student needed to deduct the interest if they didn't pay they can't
