Client did talk to his attorney. Attorney advised that he should have filed all the returns. That is why I asked this question. Attorney or client even did not made selection for Small Corp. Should I file all back (05, 06 & 07final) Federal and NY or just this year file FINAL and hopefully this will go thru. I created final return for 07 and eventhough all the numbers are ZERO, NY CT 3 still shows $800 minimum tax. Please guide me. Thanks. B Jani

Hi All: I have a client who created a corporation in June 2005 thru lawyer. After that he totally forgot about it. No activity from day one is done thru corporation. Now he wants to close the corporation. What should I do? I do his and his families personal returns and few corporation returns but never had case like this. Would some one please guide me. I am from NY. One of my client's student son did internship in OH and box 20 of W-2 says locality as "EVENDALE" and he stayed in summer of 07 in Cincinnati for 2 months. I am trying to figure out: (1) how should I classify him as Non Resident Full Year or Part year Resident (2) what other local forms I need to file (3) any other tip you can offer TIA B Jani

I use paperport 9.00 since 2004 and scan and save as pdf. Have Client folder in My document folder. Just back up my document folder every week and never had problem so far.

Since 2006, I used almost 75% of my client for direct debit/deposit. I always print 9325 and give it to client and box 5 confirmes that electronic fund withdrawal payment was accepted. It sometimes happens that withdrawal is done later then the date requested on return. But so far I have or my clients have no complaint. May be I am lucky so far. B Jani
