Never send the form unless my clients ask for info/status. Generally I think it is enough that they have confirmation the money is in their account.

doesn't rhyme quite as well but: There's no need to fear! The Hangman is here! when criminals in this world appear and break the laws that they should fear and frighten all who see or hear the cry goes up both far and near for The Hangman! The Hangman! The Hangman! The Hangman! speed of lightning, roar of thunder Hanging all who rob or plunder The Hangman. The Hangman! when in this world the headlines read of those whose hearts are filled with greed who rob and steal from those who need to right this wrong with blinding speed goes The Hangman! The Hangman! The Hangman! The Hangman! speed of lightning, roar of thunder Hanging all who rob or plunder The Hangman. The Hangman! There, now you even have a catchy theme song!

Never fear the want of business. A man who qualifies himself well for his calling, never fails of employment (Thomas Jefferson) You are the perfect Hangman!

see less and less of my tax clients as well. Will see even less of them once relocated to Vegas. Almost all of them want to e-file and get their refund quicker (although I have talked them all out of the RAL). As clients are more likely to burn their Attorney (this is true btw) than their accountant, I require full payment prior to efile and delivery. Credit cards make this easy and my collections have improved substantially. I am also looking to add ACH Processing and ACH Debit Services for those that do not have a credit card but do have a checking account.

LOL True!

Hmm thinking you were appointed and accepted the Hangman's job not Sheriff or Marshall and they are the ones hiring and appointing deputies!

He will be back after the hangins That makes sense. Not sure how it helps allocate to the specific partners yet, but it probably will make it easier. Yes and love it. Couple of versions out there and I had first heard the attorney version. -

Hostage Day 7. Still no callback, but I again called them and complained. -
Think I saw that scale online. Looks like it is a basic postage scale without a USB interface, but a great price! Am I correct? Great Deal, but decided to pass on that one and get one with a USB interface which has you directly weigh inside the Online Postal Service (Endicia in my case). Bit more money ($45.00 total with shipping) but was worth the extra money for the features.

Wish I did

Have used credit card services for years now and for last few years used Intuit. FYI - I generally hate Intuit but: Use Quickbooks (QB) merchant service and I also subscribe to their Billing Solutions Service. They provide a discounted rate for Accounts and QB Advisors on the merchant services. and I find it accelerates my income recpts as well as helps me collect from bad pays. As for the Billing Solutions. I love this service. It allows me to email a bill to my clients when the work is comlete and ready for pickup and adds a link in the eamil to the Online Billing service where my client can enter their credit card info automatically. When they pay it emails me a to let me know and I can download the information directly into my QB files and my accounting is auto updated including the service charges. If the client is slow to pay it automatically sends email and past due reminders for them to pay and wahlah I get paid! It even helped me argue a dispute from AMEX when a client tried to say I shouldn't have charged his credit card. Well I didn't he entered it directly as I have no access to his online account. Customers can also see all their invoices and statements right online. No confusion!

Don't personally know this service, but I think you made a good move. I think Internet fax is really a good alternative today. Here is are some ratings and reviews of various services: http://faxing-service-review.toptenreviews.com/

I am afraid even with a special worksheet it will be a manual calculation. And I don't know if I want the depr to be unassigned as when a unit is sold I want to be able to pickup all the unallowed losses. My guess is I will have to use an excel spreadsheet to keep trak of this from year to year and then manually allocate. -
You know I could get "Raunchy" and make a lot of comments to your "..wet shirt and goosebumps..." comment To bad I am a gentleman and can't bring myself to do it. Besides, my wife would probably kill me if I did. lol

Personally I am not a fan of HP products on any level. Although at one time they made the IMO the best printers, I feel they have fallen donw and now to use sub-standard parts, have been the only electronic products that I have both purchased and needed extended warranties for, have had numerous issues and breakdowns etc. I have had nothing but trouble in recent years with their laser printers, laptops, desktops and ink jets. As far as laser printers, Brother does a real nice job and I also like Okidata's color lasers but not all their multifunction units. Okidata has a unique feature because it is not really a laser printer, but an LED printer. When printing, even on plain paper you get a magazine like glossy color print. Also, their cost per print page is generally less than all other printes, both due to ease of refilling and the way they deal with consumables. Brother, which I do not own, consistently gets rave reviews and a number of my friend and clients swear by them. Their all in ones have received top reviews from several sites. Personally I have been an Okidata fan for years. Had 2 cheap personal monochromes I purchased years ago. Worked like a charm, never broke down and the only reason I had to get rid of them was they were old and outdated technology (slow had them almost 20 years). Never had any other printer last that long, including my HP Laserjet 4 (which was a good printer, back then I do think HP did it right).

As Rush Limbaugh (not a fan btw) would say: Hostage day 6 Calling ATX daily now and still not getting anymore than promises of a callback from development. -
As good a day as any! Besides I am tired of hanging people right now. By the 15th I will comfortably relocated in Vegas and can start the hangings then if my prediction falls flat!

Can't wait. Yes bad knees, bad back, allergies, hate even the little humidity in IL, No winter. I think I can do this And good idea on the wet shirt, but question should it to be a "Wet T-shirt"? Not sure if anyone would care to see me in one of those...

None of this matters the world is ending on July 15, 2008! I have even given up hangings until then. (JK)

Yes but most do not do this and then Windows gets BLOOAATTEEED. I do understand the capability of the user. Have done tech support over the years and have torn my hair out when they change things and can't tell you where they are. But how about the software mfg creating a specific folder for your software under the "My Documents" folder. This is what I do when a program allows me to. Then you name it, know where it is, and it is unlikely the user will change it. I agree, most don't really understand their backup system or have alternative options. I have Norton Ghost doing an automatic backup, but if I hadn't checked when I did my first few I never would have know it was giving me errors and I really had no backup. Alternatively I periodically use Zip to make DVD backups and use a USB drive that I sync the data to so it is not compressed and can be used on the fly. Now I know I am anal here and most don't do this. I also know that I don't do the other 2 methods as often as the auto backup by Norton. I can only agree with this one! Sigh!

I don't know, looks to me like Roy has an interesting option here. If the case could be made that this was a business and not an investment it might work.

not here either :scratch_head:
