    Form 8109-B

If you have the 2004 program, it has one that some banks have accepted. Otherwise, I dunno.
  9. DAG NABBIT!
  10. JerryH - I am having difficulty figuring why tp would have to report repayment of loan at all. Maybe interest. Better minds than ours will set us straight!
  11. l. increase your executor's fee by $300., or 2. go to the casino & put it on #13. If you lose, walk away. If you win, you have enough to argue about. 3. what Pacun said.
  12. "Next time call Betty Sue BEFORE you file." lbb Better yet, call Jerome - he is the smart one.
  13. JohnH - but I can't read Booger's mail box & besides, he is off playing a frikken banana on TV.
  14. Bob - you are correct about the frickin permit to grow frickin bananas - BUT, mgmea plans to grow the generic frickken banana - which we all know is grandfathered in under code section 2663.154a(e)2(B)c6, and therefor needs no permit.
  15. The simple answer is not necessarily a simple solution. You must make the dreaded phone call to customer service.
  16. One of my favorite stories. 20 years ago TP(?) new client walked into my small town office & said he needed to file for SS. I suggested that he go to SS office in the city since he has already paid them for that service. He indicated that he had, but they wanted his last 3 years returns. I said so? He says he hasn't filed last three years. I ask when did he last file. He says NEVER. Seems he left the navy after WWII, bought a truck & equipment & earned a living for 40 years painting farm buildings for cash. Never filed a return. I prepared 3 returns using "best evidence available" & he collected SS til he died 15 years later.

    New Belt

YOUR BELT HAS 2 SIDES, MINE HAS 3 FINGERS!
  18. True - but please be advised that the term is considered a pejorative and no longer politically correct.
  19. I believe the credits are applied in the order shown on the 1040, & the child tax credit is 1st.... I think you are out of luck.
  20. "as they were sold several months later (in 2007)" This would indicate that TP rec'd 1099-B reporting sales, not just int & div.
  21. If your farmers include form 4136 to claim federal gas tax credit, I believe they have until March 10 to file.
  22. The symbol I really want is the "=" sign with the squiggly over it. It means approximately.
  23. Under the facts as given, I have to consider him self employed. Look on the bright side - he could be maintaining a valuable 2032A election by his executor.
  24. Not enough data. Does he live on the farm?? SS is very picky about their "inspection" parameter. If he lives on the farm, he is considered to be "inspecting" the crop and therefor actively participating. Creative thoughts? He could move. He could cash rent.
