  14. Deb: Since you just received this info from the client why not make it easy on yourself and file an extension? Life is short. :~) taxbilly
  15. I looked at the directions and can find no where does it say it must go on a Schedule C. It does say to report it in your trade or business which this is clearly not. I would put it in its proper place which would be line 7. taxbilly

    1099R ?

    Many times an IRA 1099-R wil have the box checked because they don't know whether the recipient was able to deduct it. taxbilly

  25. Best wishes to all. I too had a few serious problems in 2008 and was close to packing it in. I asked God for an extension (hey, it works with the IRS) and I'm hanging in there quite nicely with one kidney although it is only working at 50%. Remember, only the good die young so the majority of this board should live a long life! :~) taxbilly
