Patrick Michael

While winding up a 20 year career as a police officer I returned to school and earned a bachelors degree in accounting.  I started preparing taxes in 1997, mostly for family, friends and co-workers (while still in law enforcement).  After retiring form the Sheriff's Department I started my second career in accounting as a Staff Account and worked my way up to an Assistant Controller's position.  I became a Certified Management Accountant in 2008 and earned my EA in 2010.  I have built up my tax practice to 250 returns a year and am looking forward to continuing to build the practice.
