Jainen, I like your business concept. Let me know how it works and maybe next year I will try it. Although I don't like working in the summer. I thought about charging everyone $500.00 to start with and if their return is less I would refund the money. Yeah that will work.

Congratulations. Thanks for all the help, ideas, suggestions, and comments. Have a Merry Christmas (wish you a white Christmas, but probably not in Fl). I could send you some snow if you would like.

Tp been advised by a financial lawyer to open a trust to pay for life insurance. Tp deposits the cost of the premium into the trust then writes a check to pay the premium. This is the only activity. Would you file the trust? I could go both ways, no activity not file, yes to let the IRS know the trust exists. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

I've notice recently my replies have the delete and edit tags on the bottom of my posts. What am I doing wrong?

I also received the same e-mail. Perhaps ATX will send another disc???? This could be an unusual tax season if it starting this way. Just waiting for the next chapter to this book.

This may date me. I have a juke box that plays 45's and the records. Also have 33 1/3's and 78's. My favorite is my coke a cola vending machine that dispenses bottles (glass) of coke for a quarter. To bad they don't make those bottle anymore. My next favorite is a Gottlieb pinball machine with side flippers and the balls bounce around and ring the bells and hit the bumpers. Oh well back to 2009. Thanks for the trip.

I miss the radio and high beam button on the floor. I recently heard my son say e-brake. Maybe some of the words are coming back. Sure wish the simple times would come back. Thanks for fender skirt and running boards.

She will need a part year NJ unless she moves on 01/01/10. She would also need to advise her employer of the change of address to get NJ tax taken out of her wages. I would suggest she also keeps the pay stub just before and after the move to be able to break down the amount of wages to each state.

Received ATX Max program today ordered thru TRX

Got it. FedEx delivered to my father's house on the same property. Now I feel a little bit better that I got it. All I have to do is get rid of this cold or flu that I have. The headaches are killing and for me to take tylenol it must be bad. I rarely take any meds. Well I do have something to be thankful for, the Atx program. -

Today is Thanksgiving and I have not received my package. Sure hope they are going to send it to me. On the ATX site there are my codes for 2009. They kept calling me for my EFIN number which I gave them. I am concerned but will wait til tomorrow. -
Congratulations Catheriine and also to this board for 1000 members. Many, many thanks to all who are contributed questions and answers. The knowledge is very impressive. I have learned a lot of information and have had quiet a few laughs.

NJ lets you opt out if you so desire. Some of my clients demand to opt out. Also NJ will not except e-file with k-1's. Last year I e-filed a return that need a SCH J (farmer), the SCH J wasn't attached to the e-file and the client got a love note. Had to amend all returns that had a SCH J. I was not a happy camper. If we have to e-file by 2010 I hope all forms will fly in cyberspace or will we have to mail all attachments? I hope we will be able to opt out on certain types of returns.

Yes, I got that e-mail. Wonder what is going on.

Hope all your ghosts and goblins are out haunting someone else. Although we have seen many of them in our tax programs and some in our clients. Take a break and get ready for new ghosts and goblins in our new tax programs with new and wonderful tax laws, credits, and hauntings. BOO

Thanks for all your help. I was dumb because I did not click on start to backup. When I did the clients names appeared. Now I have it backed up. Sometimes it is the little things that really get ignored. I am now a happy camper.

I got a new flash drive and tried to backup all my clients for archiving. In the backup part of ATX I am not getting a list of clients it is a blank screen. What am I doing wrong? I am ready to throw in the towel. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I guess if you have pets and golf it could be a good thing. But for me who wouldn't know which end of the club to hold and which end to swing, I think it is odd. (I do like mini golf through). I guess pets are like children to some and we can deduct our children. Now how far are the politicans going. Yes, I agree with you Taxbilly, we are going nuts and it's not even full tax season.

I guess living in a small rural town where everybody pretty much knows everyone, I don't have problems with EITC. The majority of my clients have been with me for more than 15 years. Some of the clients even bring their children with them. Thanks for the heads up on this and I will be careful with new clients.
