Still waiting for someone to define 'normal'. Guess I am as crazy as the next one or maybe as 'normal' as the next one.

He just picked up his return with 1 1/2 hours left to make it to the post office. HOOOORAH. Now it is time to curl up with a book and read as I watch the snow fall. Yes I did say snow. It's been snowing for the last 4 hours but very little is sticking to the ground because it started as rain. I hope it will clear up so we can finish getting the grain (beans, corn and hay) off the fields and into the barn so we don't lose too much money on the farm. Boy it never seems to stop.

Still waiting for the last one to pickup today. Could not e-file it. Oh well if he doesn't get it mailed it is not my fault, been calling him and calling him. He is always last, last minute or should I say last second. Everybody enjoy the next couple of days before the 2009 tax program comes in and we will be trying that out. Can't wait or can I?

Thanks KC that makes sense. It is a good day because I learned something today.

Client had small business in 2007. In 2008 he did not have any income or expenses except depreciation. Sch C is showing depreciation and I want to eliminate the sch c for 2008 but not lose the depreciation. He is doing business in 2009. Can I discard sch c and still have the depreciation to carry forward to 2009? I had clients who have ended their business but never one to put in on hold. Thanks.

Thanks for the warning. Like most, I too, tend to ignore pain and continue doing what I am doing. It will go away or work itself out. I think I am going to be more aware of what my body is trying to tell me. Glad to hear you are okay.

Taxpayer has 2 LLC both sch c. Customer has bill with LLC B and wants to pay with equipment that LLC A can use. TP need to pay for the supplies used for customer in LLC B. Accounting and tax question can LLC A issue check (made to cash) to pay for equipment then LLC A can depreciated it. Then can that check be giving to LLC B for the bill that is owed to LLC B. I think this will work, then LLC A can depreciate equipment and LLC B can then pay for supplies. Or any other suggestions? Thanks

I can not conceive what is so important that you must create a text message while driving or receive a text message while driving. I have a cell phone (only my family has my cell number) for calls and if someone is calling me and there is any other person in my car I will have them answer the phone, or if I am alone I will pull over to answer. Sometimes I think technology has gone a bit to far.
