Figured out the problem...when installing the update I didnt disable my antivirus so I went in Norton and opened up the App Permissions to connect to internet. ATX files were listed as "Auto" so I changed them to "Allow" and it seemed to fix my problem. If anyone else had this issue I hope this helps

So I couldn't open previously completed returns, searched the forum and ended downloading the 12.9 hotfix. It solved that problem but now it seems to have a problem establishing an internet connection...My internet is up and running but when the program loads it says it cant update because we are not connected to the internet. I am going to try and fix this issue today but figured I would see if anyone else has had an issue after the 12.9 update with their internet connection?
