I used to be the head of the pack out of the gate first. That ended when ATX so much as told me to stop bothering them. 2013 would have rolled out 2-3 weeks later than it did if it were not for me finding a MAJOR main program glitch. It was such a major glitch right after a program update, that they issued another update the next day. Now I just wait till Feb. 1 to even start preparing returns. However, this year, 1099s and W-2s cause me to break my rule. No more beta testing guinea pig stuff for me. ATX DOES NOT CARE!!

Do any of you VA members e-file W2/W3 using ATX Payroll program? Seems that ATX does not support VA form VA-6 which is required for e-filing of W2/W3. There is no available method for mail processing of W2/W3 forms. Any insight would be appreciated. Is there a method to input W/2 info directly on the VA website?

Choose one, or choose none. Those are the only safe methods of dealing with divorced couples.

The payroll program for 2016 does not support import of any files. ATX and its "enhancements" at their finest.

Actual templates have been dismissed as not necessary by ATX developers. Abby's method works except, this early in the season, form updates will not be applied to the forms in the original return.

Why is he still your client? He insults your integrity and professionalism when he accuses you the second and every subsequent time. Send him to H&R. They can ignore his wash sales and get away with it.

You need to read the questions and the NEW documentation requirements on Form 8867. Then see if you think it is just a few more things to document.
