  1. SWEET!!!!!...........I have been busy on some other stuff (Minnesota Sales Tax) so did not see that....Wow...That made my day!
  2. I also have MAX and did get the e-mail....I checked the web site...all e-files are listed, but charge for each is zero
  3. Remember...If you create an e-file for a return, then make any changes to that return (however insignificant), the status of the e-file will change to "Rejected by ATX". This forces you to go back and re-create the e-file...ensuring that it was created with the most recent version of the return.
  4. Client stops by to pick up, pay, and sign her 8879....She hands me a homemade cream pie....and what kind do you think it was?......Yep FRIKKIN' BANANA CREAM!!! I am in heaven!
  5. Booger...I think that is an entirely different program you are thinking of
  6. Thanks...I took a candy from the bowl on your desk too.....at least I THINK that was candy?
  7. I was always taught to just do amended returns...One for each taxpayer...with their name and SSN ONLY on the 1040X....This way, in the end....The same number of names and SSNs are on the two amended returns as were on the original 1040
  8. Under Preferences, Print There is a check box to choose....return address on left or centered
  9. But does it apply to the homeowner or to the builder/contractor that installed it in the new home?
  10. You will have to file an amended return for the child (paper only, no e-file) and then do a paper return for the parents with the son as a dependent....If you try to e-file this, it will be rejected. Put simply....No e-file for them this year
  11. Now that was frikkin funny!
  12.
  13. OK....So somebody stepped in dog poop and walked on my carpet....Whoever did it, please raise your hand...I would like to add a cleaning bill to your fee! I now have a very bad smell that is not coming from Lenny the pirate.

  16. I also just leave myself on as both Paid Preparer and ERO....Then I pay myself with a frikkin banana split
  17. ...You know...HRB has people....did any of them get hit by the flying glass? Cause I bet they could find some unreimbursed employee expenses to deduct

    W-2G

The only way to offset W-2G income is to deduct gambling losses on Sch A (if they exist and are substantiated)....even then, that may not help with Ohio return...taxable on the Ohio return as well.
