Apparently one survived and is living in my attic and eating all of my frikkin bananas (that is where I kept them in a Frikkin banana box). I think it now has access to a cell phone...As I could swear I heard it calling and talking to someone when I listened through the ductwork.

I have a Frikkin big raccoon in my attic and he/she is poopin all over and making a LOT of noise at night...I put a frikkin banana in the trap, but he just picked up the trap (instead of going inside it) and dumped out the frikkin banana and ate it. I would send Lila the Giant Dog after it, but Lila The Giant Dog is a pacifist and does not do conflict. Looks like I need to call a frikkin trapper

No....No place for comments...This is why I told them I was 5-years old and female....Trust me...They really do NOT want to know how we feel about them.
-
I think we should have a Frikkin Banana forum....THAT would be frikkin amazing
-
That is frikkin amazing! Thanks!
-
....I really do not know how to respond to this
-
You were exactly right....I just did not spin the big wheel enough times!
-
I would print out the E-file acknowledgement history and the rejection error...mail them with the return with a brief explanation that return was transmitted on 04/15, but was rejected due to dependency...etc.
-
On 04/15 I electronically filed an extension (4868) for a client that owed. She wanted to pay electronically so I entered her account information and chose a date of 04/20/2008 for the payment. Extension is Rejected with Error Code 1040US397....Invalid Date I assume this is because I entered 04/20 instead of 04/15? If so, ...Then OK it was a stupid mistake...but now what? Can I change the payment date and re-transmit? If so, what do I change the date to...04/15..even though it is currently 04/17? Or should I just mail it with a copy of the rejection history and explanation (with a check of course?

updated 4-17-08 at 9:28am: All acks from April 14th - 16th have been processed and posted to customer's electronic mailboxes. .....Then why do I still have extensions showing Validated by EFC.....I have received ACKs and synchronized...but still one extension that was sent 04/15 that states "Validated by EFC". C'mon ATX/CCH....It cannot be that difficult!
-
If I can remember where I put that map and brochure, I'll let you know!
-
I was scheduled to attend a "memory Enhancement" seminar today from 8-noon....But I forgot to go....Just remembered a few minutes ago at lunch.
-
But if you file extension electronically....Then, at a later date, file the federal and state returns electronically, how does the state know that you filed an extension?
-
I still have a 1040 that was transmitted on 04/15 that still states Validated by EFC as well. ...I use my photo cuz I am so sexy....Do not hate me for being beautiful!
-
I still have a few extension that have not been ACKed...anybody else experirncing this?
-
You stated that very well.....I really did not realize how much I enjoyed and actually NEEDED the forum and all of you until it was so crually ripped from us last year....My thanks also to Eric for providing a venue for us "like-minded" people to hang out, share, and learn

I do not know what to do here....I have a client dropped her stuff for me to do her 2005 return...It included a 1099-MISC. I had set the folder on a table and opened a window (nice day here)...breeze blew the folder open and client's 1099-MISC landed on the floor. What caught my attention was the Lila the giant dog was oddly quite...not growling chewing things up like she ususlly does...Then I smelled it coming from the front room. 1099-MISC...on the floor...and yes Lila the giant dog pooped on it. I cleaned it off, but I can barely read it as it is stained.

Most of us here are accountants/tax preparers...and the world knows that usually we are not the funniest of people....So when one of us attempts to bring levity to the table, it is not always done so sucessfully. I would never condone inappropriate posts, but would say that innapproprate posts may not indicate an bad person so much as just a failed attempt at levity. ....That aside.....I still think Frikkin bananas rule!

-
Client arrives today with a 2004 Ohio state return that was never filed...has a refund of $230.00. Is today the lasty day to file a 2003 Ohio return and claim a refund?
-

I work as an accountant (tax and cost) during the day for my employer...get home around 5:30...feed my daughter and work on taxes until around 2:00am...then get up at 7:00am to start again....I am so "fried" right now that I can barely dress myself. After tomorrow....check late night TV commercials for the newest "Accountants Gone Wild" episode...I may be on it....there are several large strong margaritas with my name on it!
-
I would...assuming they had $3,000.00 or more from social security.
