On Proforma'd returns with depreciable assets there is an issue with the data flowing properly from the 4562 to the parent form. I have had to: 1) recreate the depreciable asset or 2) recreate a 4562 and relink the depreciable asset to it and them relink the 4652 to the appropriate parent form to get the data to flow. Even though the the depreciable asset form is completely and properly filled out tech support acknowleges that it "sometimes" doesnt flow properly. Well I have experienced this more than sometimes. So watch your depreciation. I also have a 4562 where a red exclamantion point remains next to the form and tech support cant explain it or remove it. The form is properly completed. They said that it wont prevent efiling which is what I am concerned about. I should find out within a week. While TaxWise has performed calculations properly for most of the returns I am not comfortable with the software as it does take about 1/3 longer to complete a return than TaxWorks and ATX did in the past.

Wow, now thats a good first post. We will see what tomorow brings. At the very least it has generated attention and hopefully some pressure on TRX. I cant imagine them staying in business under the TRX name aftre this year.

I found an easier way. >Tools>Utilites/Setup Options then select the File drop down menu then select Erase Efile. It's probably doing the same thing as you posted by deleting the file from the directory. Thanks

I still cant efile Pa's 1102S version forms but they arent due to be released until 3/7. TaxWise shows IL 1120s efile released 2/26 so you should be able to. Go to client login, support tab, efile availabilty link on left side of screen.

Im not getting the 9325 to print. After I select the ack to view I can print it or save it but I dont get the 9325 to print when I close it. Do you view the Ack first or just select it and close the window to get the 9325 to print. Either way I cant get it. I can only view the Ack.

Does anyone know if there is a way to delete an efile other than over-writing it. Accidently created on and now it doesnt show in my in-progress filtered list.

I use the TaxWise backup, that I mentioned a few posts up, to a folder and that folder is included in my "DropBox" clould since. My point is even though it says "Back Up To Disk" you can send it to a folder.

Kea, did you do any manual backups through >Tools>Backup To Disk>? If so you may be able to restore the return that way. Im not aware of any automatic backups in TaxWise unless you are refering to a 3rd party program that backs up selected drives, directories or files.

After login in on the "Client Login" tab (Mainstreet tax solutions) select the "Home Tab" the last entry on the left is the "Intelliconnect" link where you get access to The CCH U.S. Master Tax Guide (2013), tax news and other related items. My old account was still active. Nice.

I received the DVD yesterday.

I noticed CCH Master Tax listed under >Help>View Authorizations. Does anyobody know anything about this? How do you access it? BTW Im using the Mainstreet Tax Solutions version of TaxWise

I noticed a "TaxSlayer" add on a NASCAR car in yesterday's Daytona 500. Not too shabby if they can afford that.

I already downloaded it back when I purchased it but I still like to have the official DVD which they promised. I could always burn the program file too.

Has anyone received the DVD from your purchase of Mainstreet Tax Solution's TaxWise? I purchased it on 1/31 and was told it shipped out a few days later. I still have received it. When I emailed to ask about it I was told it went out regular mail so there is no tracking number and that they would send out another one. Sounds fishy to me.

OK, now that makes sense. I knew the loss goes to the beneficiary and on their 1040 they would carry forward any loss over $3000 but it just confused me to see it on the 1041. It's been a long tax season. Thank you Terry!
