Turbo Tax allows you to import brokerage transactions which was a big time saver for me last year

I get calls from "invalid number" and "unavailable" --several every day. Sometimes I pick up the phone and press "talk" then hang up. That stops the phone from ringing.

Anyone can send 1099-MISC whether they paid anything or not. But the proof would be checks cashed by the recipients--not whether they reported it.

I agree. I used Turbo Tax and was even able to import all of my brokerage statement forms. It works as well as ATX or Drake which I used before I retired.
