RJM Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 Has anyone contacted ATX to see when the 940 and 941 e-file forms are expected to be available? If not, I will call late Tuesday and see what they think. Quote
RJM Posted January 22, 2008 Author Report Posted January 22, 2008 FYI- Today these payroll return e-file forms are supposed to be ready. Never knew this before, but the schedule is available on the ATX website e-file section. Quote
Chrisbry Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 I've got 6 incident numbers regarding this very issue {from the lowly Customer service Rep to the Asst Mgr, Mary -- who said she would say hi to William!} It was posted to ATX today: updated 1-24-08--940, 941, and 944 --We were approved for efile of these forms this morning. You can continue to send these e-files to us currently; however we cannot transmit these for 24 hours (Friday morning). But the 940/941 EF Info is STILL not available. I'd like to know how we can continue to send the e-files to them without the form? I could teach Frustration 101 this week. I'm done with all my quarterlies & annuals except for this wee little problem. I guess I don't understand WHY ATX is just NOW getting approved for efiling of these forms? It has gone smoothly all the other quarters. <sigh> Back to hitting the UPDATE button in the software. Quote
JohnH Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 All but a couple of my 941's & 940's were completed by mid-month. (But then, I'm still doing them the inefficient way by paper filing them - guess I need to get up with the times) Quote
RJM Posted January 24, 2008 Author Report Posted January 24, 2008 Chris , thanks for the UPDATE.. I am getting sick of hitting that button also. John H once you start using the efile payroll returns I think you will like it. It is fast and easy, and you get a confirmation of receipt right away (ie ACK). Quote
taxit Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 The forms are ready for efiling. I just updated. I will soon try to send a few. Quote
Chrisbry Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 I just e-filed all my 940's and 941's . Now I see that they have moved back the e-filing of 1065's and 1120's to the 30th instead of the 25th. Nice. Quote
